Product Summary:

B3 Walking Sprinkler

Since 1938, these rugged sprinklers have been built to last. The Walking Sprinkler creeps along on cast iron wheels, using the hose as its track.

The Traveling Sprinkler can be set at high speed (40 ft/hr, putting down about 1/2" of water); low speed (20 ft/hr, putting down about 7/8" of water) or be used as a stationary sprinkler. The adjustable sprinkler arms provide water spray coverage from 4 feet up to 50 feet wide over the entire length of the hose. To use, lay your hose through the middle of the area needing water, gentle curves around bushes, trees and corners. A 5/8" hose is best as 1/2" hose may be too small to guide the sprinkler around some corners.

The metal body is die-cast with a brass hose connection and steel wheels.  It propels itself across the lawn following the pattern laid out by the hose.  The transmission has two forward speeds and a neutral for stationary use.  The adjustable spray arms give a coverage width of 15' to 55' along a 200' length of a 5/8" hose or 275' with a 1/2" hose with a maximum coverage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Heavy Guty Loved the quick delivery and the item came perfect as advertised. Keep up the good work. This sprinkler is built like a tank as everyone says. Can't wait to use it when the summer dries out. May 25, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love it! I've used it only once and I loved it. I have 0.3 acres and it made watering my yard easy! Since it doesn't have a timer, I hoooked up the hose to one ($34 on amazon, that way I set it and forget it and can go run my errands w/out worrying about wasting water. I just have to check my water pressure, might be too low, because it travels only 15ft/hr. It's super heavy, all metal parts, easy to assemble and comes already pre-greased! The manufacturer website sells these for cheaper, but they are sold out for the next ONE YEAR for this model, so it's worth it to pay the extra $30 here! Shipping was very promped! June 18, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Lower Price? Look at the wheels closely. Now, go find a lower price direct from the manufacturer. Better service, too. May 29, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Solid Product This is the best sprinkler system next to in-ground systems. I set it up and it follows the hose as described. Very solid metal parts. Not worried it doesn't have an auto shut off, most with one claim they don't work half the time anyway. Travels slow enough to give a thorough watering. May 1, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great product .. but you can get a lower price elsewhere April 30, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Wow This is by far the best you can buy, made in the USA and can not be matched! Been in use for 3 months, but do a search on ebay and you will find models from the 40's that are still for resale July 28, 2011
