HeatTrak’s Residential Heated Snow Melting Mats will prevent snow and ice accumulation on walkways and stairs around your home. The Residential Heated Walkway Mat and Heated Stair Mats (Heated Outdoor Safety Tread) can be used independently or interconnected with one another to create a continuous system of snow melting mats. With the mats’ watertight connector cables, you can Mix and Match walkway and stair mats to create your perfect snow melting solution – all on a single control unit (sold separately)!
You can easily connect up to 5 walkway mats, 15 stair mats or a combination thereof (up to 15 amps) on a control unit (sold separately). Made of customized thermoplastic materials, the mats are portable and can be left outside for the entire winter season. The HeatTrak mats will generate heat to melt snow at a rate of 2 inches per hour leaving your pathway to the home clean and clear 24/7.
Every set of stair or walkway mats requires 1 control unit (sold separately) that plugs into any standard 120V. If you don’t order a control unit, your mats won’t work! It is sold separately as item number G29120.
Hint: If you are ordering Heated Mats for more than one location (ie – front of the house and back of the house) you must order a control unit for each location.
