Completely waterproof and hardy as ever! These 8 oz. Oilskin lined chaps are lighter and more flexible than pure leather, allowing freer movement when in the saddle. Lined with warm brushed cotton. Features a sturdy front buckle set and full side zippers. Unisex (see Size Chart for measurements).  Import.

 

Manufacturer's Note: Oilskin cannot be put in the wash. We advise hosing off any dirt and keeping in a well ventilated area.

Light & Warm, 2/29/2012

I was pleasantly surprised by how light weight and warm these chaps are. The side zippers are heavy duty. They are unisex and some might find them too long. However, the L fit me perfectly but I'm 5'10". The front buckle system is a little "weak" but haven't had any trouble with it. As a matter of fact, I don't feel it at all when riding. They certainly don't bother my horse.

Lightweight, flexible, and waterproof., 3/8/2010

Fits easily over breeches and are a good windbreak, so they are very warm. However, there were no hook and loop closures on the ones I received althouth that hasn't posed a problem. Also, after wearing them twice, the stiching on the zipper on one leg unravled, so I will have to have the stiching reinforced. They fit fine, not too tight and they will fit over jeans as well. Therefore, the quality of the workmanship is not as good as other products that I've purchased from Outback, which I've always found satisfactory.

These chaps are awesome--lightweight, comfortable, warm and waterproof! Exactly what I wanted when I ordered them. They fit easily over jeans or other pants.
