Skagerak Denmark is a 100% Danish owned company founded in 1976 with headquarter in Hadsund. The primary business activities are design, development and sales of wooden furniture, gift articles and wood care products - everything from a strong common basis as a provider of branded teak goods.

Scirocco Design is a wind that blows towards Southern Europe from North Africa, and the wind, as a source of inspiration, is very much apparent in the design.
According to designer Hans Thyge, Scirocco furniture is “light and airy by design. The billowing skirtings are reminiscent of a net blowing in the wind.” The wind can also blow freely through the chairs, because they are open front and back. The benefit here is that there is plenty of room for your legs.
