I cannot recommend this item. As the ice cream is not actually churning, but rather sloshing around, what you end up with is the product frozen along the outside and the center liquid. What is frozen tends to be very crystalline and not creamy. While the idea is novel and fun the end product assured the kids really didn't like it at all.
