A pine shingled, hexagonal roof covers the hexagonal body of the feeder, and a wooden base supports the piece. Two gently scrolling arms extend from the base of the feeder, with two wooden bars intersecting each arm for perching spots for your birds. The hexagonal reservoir holds 1 quart of sunflower or mixed seed, and the clear plastic panels allow you to easily monitor the levels. The bottom of each panel has an opening, for birds to easily reach feed, and a small lip around the base keeps it in place while offering resting spots. A nylon cord threads through the feeder and roof, keeping the unit stable and enabling it to be hung from a bracket or hook. The roof lifts up this cord, and finials at the top and base of the home complete the elegant effect.
