• Fact: 27 cubic feet = 1 Yard

• Mulch is typically sold in 3 cu. ft. bags thus 9 bags = 1 Yard
• Example: If the Calculator says you require 5 yards of mulch to cover your area. You will need 45 (3 cubic ft.) bags
• 5 (Yards) X 9 (bags per yard) = 45 total bags!
