Need to fix design on metal rods at bottom of trellis, 4/8/2014

Both my friend and I purchased this trellis and had problems with the metal inserts at the bottom. They push inward as you push the trellis in the ground. They need to have something inside the plastic post (a stop of some kind) or a screw on the outside
