This feeder does not come as advertised. First, there are no perches. Second, the instructions and cord in the base cannot be removed, since the base does not come apart, and pliers can't pull the materials through the small opening. The plastic feeder is of poor quality, and arrived caved in. I checked the manufacturer's site--Kay Home Products--and the company doesn't make hummingbird feeders anymore.
