Woodpeckers like it if they could find a seat...., 9/10/2012

This is a good feeder but the perch shelf lets small birds like sparrows and cow birds to stand there and eat till it comes out their ears...the woodpeckers have to hang upside down from the roof to get anything. I strongly recommend all perches be removed. The woodies don't need them and it would keep the force the poor relatives to eat on the ground where they belong.
